This Privacy Policy explains how Cleanup AI: Smart Cleaner ("Cleanup AI", "the App", "we", "our", or "us") handles information when you use the App.
Cleanup AI: Smart Cleaner helps you review and manage photos, videos, contacts, calendar events, connected email account data, and device storage. We designed the App to perform cleanup and organization tasks on your device whenever possible.
The App may request access to the following information, depending on the features you choose to use:
We use the information above only to provide the features you request, including finding duplicate, similar, blurred, screenshot and large media; helping you delete selected photos, videos, screenshots, contacts, calendar events and emails; compressing selected videos; showing storage usage and estimated cleanup opportunities; organizing connected Gmail inbox categories and helping you unsubscribe where information is available; protecting selected items in the secret album; verifying subscription status; and sending local cleanup reminders on your device.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your personal information for third-party advertising or cross-app tracking.
Photo, video, contact, calendar, secret album, and device storage cleanup features are processed on your device. We do not operate a backend service that receives your photos, videos, contacts, calendar events, or secret album content.
When you delete or modify content through the App, the action is performed only after you choose the relevant cleanup action. You are responsible for reviewing selected items before deletion or modification.
To keep the App reliable and understand how features are used, the App uses Google Firebase:
This information is pseudonymous: it is not linked to your name or an account, and it is not used to track you across other apps or websites. We do not collect the device advertising identifier (IDFA) and do not use this data for advertising. This data is processed by Google in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy. Reinstalling the App resets the app-instance identifier.
If you connect a Google account, authentication is handled through Google OAuth. The App does not ask for or store your Google password.
Google OAuth tokens may be stored securely in the device Keychain so the App can provide connected Gmail features. Gmail data is retrieved only to provide user-facing email cleanup features, such as scanning categories, displaying selected emails, identifying newsletters, and performing cleanup actions you initiate.
The App's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google user data is used only to provide the Gmail features you request. Google user data is not sold, transferred to advertising platforms or data brokers, used for personalized advertising, or accessed by humans except when required for security, legal compliance, or with your explicit consent.
You can disconnect your Google account in the App where available, delete the App, or revoke the App's Google access from your Google Account security settings.
Premium subscriptions and purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment card details. Apple may provide purchase and subscription status information needed to unlock premium features, process restores, and manage subscription access.
If you allow notifications, the App may schedule local notifications on your device to remind you that storage cleanup may be available. These reminders are generated on your device and do not require a server. You can disable notifications at any time in iOS Settings.
We do not sell your personal information. We may rely on third-party services only where necessary to provide App functionality:
These services process information according to their own terms and privacy policies. We do not use any of this data for cross-app tracking, and we do not collect the device advertising identifier (IDFA).
You can control App access in iOS Settings, including access to Photos, Contacts, Calendars, Camera, Microphone, Face ID or Touch ID, and Notifications. You can also choose which items to delete or modify, decline permissions, disconnect Google account access where available, revoke Google access from your Google Account security settings, cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings, and delete the App from your device.
Cleanup AI: Smart Cleaner is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
We use platform security features such as iOS permissions, Keychain storage, and local device protections to help safeguard data used by the App. However, no method of storage or transmission is completely secure.
Your information may be processed by Apple or Google according to their services, account settings, and regional terms if you use purchases, subscriptions, or Google account features.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes become effective means you accept the updated Privacy Policy.
